Through the worst days of Covid, our printers, packers, engineers, drivers, wholesalers, shopkeepers and paper boys and girls put their health concerns to one side to ensure everyone who needed news, got it. Today the anti-free speech mob tried to stop them. #buyapaper

This morning people across the country will be prevented from reading their newspaper because of the actions of Extinction Rebellion.
This attack on our free press, society and democracy is completely unacceptable.

Overnight printing of The Times was disrupted by Extinction Rebellion — alongside other newspapers.
We are working to get newspapers delivered to retailers as soon as possible.
