I will always err to competence. Always. I can't say Labour will be a competent government, they're untested, unproven. I can say Conservatives are tested and proven incompetent. The promise of competence > proven incompetence. Ergo: I'll take the promise over the proof

I have no religion so no theist dog in any fight. All I see is crappy humans justifying CRUEL treatment of other humans. I'm playing Christmas music to try and lighten my mood (cultural), but honestly, no-one believes shit. If they did, this wouldn't be the world.

I am a rugby fan. My preferred teams have lost x4 this weekend. But what a joyous weekend of rugby it has been. Disappointed? Yes. Excited and engaged? Hell yes. This RWC2023 is bringing some superb rugby. I may not be a (supporter) winner, but I'm winning anyway. Great stuff!

I know I'm doing ok in life. I've had a weekend of rugby and good food. But my mind is on those that haven't. I can't express satisfaction with my lot. Because for people in many places, peace is a distant concept. I will both/all sides this, because innocents are dying.

I'm not a fan. Not keen on Hamas, but I know why they're attacking. Not keen on Israeli retribution, but understand why. Not keen, the influences of the 'superpowers' in this conflict. There should be a Palestine and an Israel. 2 states. Until then, deaths, many more deaths.

They do not care one jot if a girl’s head is smashed into the rim of a car door. Which is why no one believes the regime’s assertion that #ArmitaGaravand is currently in a coma after sustaining head injuries from an altercation with these despicable thugs “due to a collapse induced by a drop in blood pressure”. The fact that her mother has now been arrested for expressing an infinitesimal amount of frustration with the situation says it all. The similarity with #MahsaAmini who died from similar head injuries is distinct and pointed. Iran is a country about to blow. ⬇️

Shaheen Ahmadi (the mother of Armita) was released from captivity on condition she doesn’t speak to the media or to anyone about what has happened to her daughter. She has also been ordered to remain silent about her daughter's condition. We understand that #ArmitaGaravand condition has not changed and she is still in a coma. However fears are growing that Armita is being kept on a life support machine and will do so until the story goes away. It’s not going away.
