To everyone coming to my event at Bath with Mat Osman this evening – SO SORRY but it's cancelled. The plane I boarded this morning developed a fault prior take off. Rebooking was chaotic & slow, so I've had to drive back home. Really disappointed. My Hay event should be OK.

Just finished @tomlamont's fine & spirit-lifting debut novel of friendship, fatherhood, growth and forgiveness. A bluff song of praise to North London, peopled by engaging, fallible characters, and rich in glinting turns of phrase. @SceptreBooks.
