Top reasons Doctors are aggressively trying to leave Nigeria based on personal research: ❌Poverty Wages: Spending 6-10 years in medical school to earn a House Officer salary that cannot even buy a decent Nigerian-used car, while the Federal Government owes you for five months straight. You are doing active 48-hour calls on an empty stomach while dodging the food vendor at the hospital gate because your have no money to pay her. ❌Consultant Toxicity: The pure psychological violence during ward rounds.
