Lori Spencer and her mother, Judie Shape, photographed for TIME this week. Judie tested positive for COVID-19 at Life Care Center of Kirkland but is recovering well. The only way Lori has been able to visit is through the window outside Judie’s room. Thank you @katz and @time

NEW: Two people from Oregon were arrested inside the Palisades Fire zone for impersonating firefighters. Police say they had a fire truck which was bought in an auction, were wearing CAL-Fire t-shirts, and claimed to be with “Roaring River FD”… which doesn’t exist.

There's pretty horrific damage to infrastructure in Port Vila, Vanuatu, after the 7.3 magnitude #earthquake today.
We're seeing flattened/collapsed buildings, rubble everywhere.
Thankfully though, the tsunami threat has been cancelled.
