I don't remember where I first heard this idea, but it's life changing. The realization that however hold you feel now and whatever limitations that brings, you will always look back and wish for aspects of your younger years. Take joy in where you're at right now. ❤️🔥

I've always loved the idea of generating slides from markdown, but the implementation has left something to be desired. Did you know that you can use markdown to generate Google Slides?! 🤩 Need to experiment... developers.google.com/slides… Hat tip to @asciilator for finding this.

What happened is scientists discovered chlorofluorocarbons were bad for the ozone, countries believed them, the Montreal Protocol was signed, and CFC use fell by 99.7%, leading to the stabilization of the ozone layer, perhaps the greatest example of global cooperation in history.

Remember when they spent years telling us to panic over the hole in the ozone layer and then suddenly just stopped talking about it and nobody ever mentioned the ozone layer again?

24 nations signed the Montreal Protocol limiting the use of CFCs in 1987. Scientists estimate that if the Montreal Protocol had never been implemented, the hole would have grown by 40 percent by 2013. Instead, the hole is expected to completely heal by 2050.

It's still 0% interest, but a lot more flexible. You even get to set the payment plan, can skip a month if you need to, or pay less (or more!) if your plans change. 🤯

Sad that this was the final officially themed @flatfoot56 show at @audiofeedfest, but thank you for bringing the energy and throwing a fun party. Pastageddon 2018 was memorable. Theme or no, I'm confident the mayhem will continue!
