In a notable "first," we demonstrate on-orbit alignment, measuring and correcting a sub-micron tilt in the focal plane array. That's tiny! If the spectrometer were the size of the continental USA, this adjustment would be approximately the length of a pingpong table.

Here's something to cheer(s) about going into the weekend! 🍷 Thanks to an airborne instrument developed here at JPL, scientists detected a costly infection in cabernet sauvignon grapevines before they showed symptoms visible to the human eye. go.nasa.gov/47min9a
