Our joint experimental-theoretical review of spin-glass dynamics is now published in Reviews of Modern Physics. The last couple of decades have seen major progress, culminating with the joint quantitative analysis of memory and rejuvenation in experiment and simulation.

Now that "Hubris", by Morgane Gouyon-Rety and published by @gmtgames, is finally out, let me repost two battle reports of playtest games. Even though they have playtest graphics and there might be some small rule changes, I think they convey the excitement of this great game.

Incredibly tense last turn in a playtest game of @MorganeGR25's "Hubris". My Ptolemies start 3 VP behind the Seleucids and the latter have a clear military advantage. Furthermore, Greece is a total mess (and protected by Rome), so we have to fight it out in Asia.

Playtesting of @MorganeGR25's "Hubris" continues. Untimely deaths at court have left me with a Chief Minister without administration skills but otherwise I'm doing very well as Macedon. Greece is uncharacteristically quiet and Philip has established a foothold in Asia Minor.

Happy to report that our project "From Neural Networks to Proteins: Modelling Complexity Through Spin-Glass Physics" is being funded by @CienciaGob. Especially since this is a UCM-Unizar coordinated grant, whose Madrid PI is my friend and long-time collaborator @Betapata.
