Music fans pull up. Bands are trying to tour again. Decisions about when to tour are always made far in advance, and given the relentlessness of the pandemic, when the time comes to do it, the band has to decide by a deadline whether to go or not, with imperfect information.

For a league that supposedly wants to expand, I don’t see how any city would consider an NBA franchise a worthy investment because they treat the smaller markets like a feeder system for NY and LA. Once a player in a small market does well, what happens?
