2) to explore the principles and practices of civic engagement. We designed this community for students passionate about public service, civic impact, and freedom of thought, combining academic learning with impactful experiences outside the classroom.
It was a beautiful day on campus at @Georgetown. I was honored to join a brilliant group of civic scholars and practitioners to explore research on—and ultimately solutions to—affective polarization in our country and communities.
Our @JMU Dukes are 5-1 going into Homecoming week after a strong win over Louisiana. I am so proud of our student-athletes and the character they show each and every day (my son pictured).
