Disappointed in this guy for not showing up to forums/debates (some say strategy, I say lack of courage), but thrilled he's added affordable housing accessibility to his talking points, AND he's gone on record that he values "an Omaha for everyone." .3newsnow.com/news/political/…
If they really cared they wouldn't put a statement written in their notes on Twitter and mention unrelated people, they would have reached out to the senator in private.
Another bad-faith political move from local Republicans.
Join us this Thursday at 7 for our (virtual) monthly meeting and a textbank for @NaomiHattaway, who is running for City Council in District 6.

We are glad that Gudgel has made the decision he should have made from the start. This is progress.
We hope that Bonnell II's supporters will stop brigading and harassing Omahans.
The Douglas County Young Dems condemns the collaboration between Democratic candidate for Mayor Mark Gudgel and Steven Bonnell II because racism and calls for violence have no place in Omaha. Read our statement below.
OPINION:
Nebraska doesn't need a new $250M prison.
We need to invest that money in community programs that will lower crime and violence.
Why aren't we looking at the root cause of violence that leads to incarceration and how to fix it?

Up now in the Legislature js LR3CA, a Voter ID law. These laws are voter suppression and reduce turnout. First up are the proponents. So far people have misunderstood the voter registration process and made non sequitur arguments.
Notes that the only cases of duplicate voting was a misunderstanding of new citizens voting the first time. They had IDs and they were confused. You also have to prove identity when you register.
