A timelapse view from our @SpaceX Dragon of the spectacular southern aurora seen in yesterday’s post, a result of a recent solar event. As opposed to the previous aurora I’ve seen, this one danced and snaked its way directly below us, putting on quite a show. I am in awe of this ethereal and emotionally evocative phenomenon.

Well this is the way to start the weekend.

MN is out of control these are my yearly plate fees. The EV fee is twice what I would be paying at the pump! They base that fee as well ad the other fees on the original MSRP of the vehicle. And our roads are not any better than neighboring states. @LPofMN You have my vote. I am not voting for any Republican or Democrat again. They both spend money like the print it.

Per @cybertruck parking laws. You must park by other Cybertrucks 📐

So My experience with FSD v14.3.3 has been a bit of a mixed bag. I have had it for a week and this weekend I drove 660 miles and the best I could muster was a 185 mile streak. Still at 100% FSD and just broke 9000 miles! First Intervention - It tried to park in the drive thru lane at McDonald's Second - I get to the supercharger in Tomah, WI and a Rivian is taking 2 spots, even though there is spot there that could have used that would not have blocked 2. My truck decided it wanted to park next to the Rivian and of course could not charge there. Third - get to my mothers and I needed to back into the garage and it did not want to do that. Forth - Back to Tomah and this time there are 2 Rivians there one in a proper spot and one taking 2 spots and once again my truck wanted to charge next to the Rivian. Cybertruck must feel some connection to other trucks. I was only getting 140kw so I decided to go to the next supercharger. @MdeZegher This location needs a bit of an upgrade there were 2 other charging providers in this same location and they were all full including Tesla. 8 stalls is not enough especially with other manufactures using the charging. I know it is tricky but would be nice if Tesla could detect the Rivian case and indicate that stalls are blocked. Fifth - get to a shinny new site with 12 chargers only one in use. And then the Cybertruck felt the need to park in the only handicap spot. Sixth - it gets near a construction zone decides to get off, good choice but then I see that it decides to go over a mile down the road just to do a u turn and then come back to the same interchange I got off at, just to go back on. I intervened to make it take an alternate route to avoid the traffic. So prior to v14.3.3 I would say the biggest issue I had was speed control issues of missed signs not reacting to slowdowns and etc. I still have that in this build but now I have to add navigation and parking selection as issues. For instance there is a restaurant that I have been navigating to for several years and it has parked perfectly and ever since this build it wants to park in a lot next door that is not even attached to the restaurant. Since other do not seem to have these issues I am unsure if it is a Cybertruck specific nav/ parking issue. @DBurkland @thecyberfam ? But overall I do like v14.3.3 better it moves over sooner reacts quicker to situations. For instance on a 2 lane highway where a car wanted to overtake me and ego slowed down as soon as they started passing. That was quite a surprise and a good thing to do for safety of all.

Yes totally we can give them a choice of trim though so we can still say that they had a choice.

so what you are saying is we should mandate everyone drives a Cybertruck

Badass tank that beats your sports car in a drag race
Only when you drive the Cybertruck do you realize how incredible it is: a bulletproof tank that moves like a million dollar sports car! Reason for the angular shape is that the thick, ultra-hard stainless steel body panels cannot be stamped like the thin, feeble, paper-strength mild steel of other trucks. Cybertruck body panels would break 5000 ton stamping machines.

May the 4th be with you! A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away… the guys auditioned for Star Wars—and we just discovered the tape. Let’s just say there’s a reason it was “lost.” 😄 #JeffDunham #StarWars #MayThe4th #MayThe4thBeWithYou #StarWarsDay

TERAFAB: the next step to becoming a galactic civilization Together with @SpaceX & @xAI, we're building the largest chip manufacturing facility ever (1TW/year) – combining logic, memory & advanced packaging under one roof. To harness as much power as possible from the Sun, we need to send 100 million tons of solar capture into space – per year. This requires massive scale. – Capability to launch millions of tons of mass into orbit – Solar-powered AI satellites – Millions of @Tesla_Optimus robots to help build it out All of these need chips: 100-200GW of chips for Optimus alone, plus terawatts for solar-powered AI satellites. That's more than all the chip manufacturers in the world combined can provide today, or even by 2030 (based on projected production growth). We're building TERAFAB to close the gap between today’s chip production & the future's demand – a future among the stars terafab.ai
