my hot take for the day the companies laying people off “due to AI” are overcorrecting for the technology’s immediate impact don’t get me wrong, it is an amazing toolkit at our disposal and should absolutely be incorporated into day-to-day workflows but it is not yet good enough to do the “people” part of most jobs people want to do business with people, and until AI is indistinguishable from a human, the cost of letting great people go outweighs the benefit of replacing them with AI companies should lead by example and teach their teams to use it more effectively before making rash decisions like layoffs

Update on Pods We’ve made the difficult decision to shift Pods into maintenance mode and wind down company operations. Three years ago, we set out on a journey to pave a path for creators to earn onchain. We’re proud of what we built alongside an incredible group of podcasts and collectors. When we started, this space was young, and the idea of bringing content onchain was crazy to most. Today, that’s no longer a question. For all podcasts and collectors - nothing is changing on Pods in the short term. The platform will continue operating as it does today, with all existing pages and content remaining live. That said, we’re no longer actively developing new features or maintaining the site. We're proud of what we built and deeply grateful to everyone who believed in the vision early and helped shape the platform. Your trust and support made this possible. im a bit suprised that @bankless and @therollupco didn’t show up here. i had like 75 hrs listening to podcasts this year, last year was alot more. part of that 75hrs i spent on @rehashweb3 cos they have really engaging content some bankless (but not as consistently anymore) then rollup a lot especially when they had teams from arbitrum / offchainlabs and theo network on so seeing none of them highlighted in my wrapped was a surprise. if you didn't know they are really good web3 podcasts and they could help you alot in your creator journey. well what’s your podcast lineup like and do you listen to any of these? also, jordan peterson’s podcast is my usual gym listen, and philosophize this is also a great pick(very interesting podcast for me)
