A beautiful performance from our Grade 3 choir ‘We All Need Peace’ at our Remembrance Day assembly yesterday. Also a special visit from Corporal McCowan from the Canadian Armed Forces who spoke with students in Grades 6-8. A day to reflect and honour those who sacrificed.

Today the DDW EcoTeam had our annual Kickoff event with all of the new class EcoTeam Reps. Students learned all about reducing waste in our school and went outdoors to our Pollinator Garden to do the last weed pull before the Winter. Thank you @Oakvillegreen for helping us!

This week our DDW EcoTeam worked together with @Oakvillegreen to plant beautiful pollinating native plants in our front garden beds. Our Grade 7 & 8 leaders learned all about planting and helped our younger EcoTeam students to complete this amazing project!
