Development Log - April 2026
This month was all about pushing gameplay, performance, and overall feel.
Everything moves closer to one goal: fun, challenging, and smooth - even on mid-tier rigs. Most of the footage is captured on an RTX 2070 Super - that's a 7-year-old GPU.
Really appreciate all the support and the great people I've connected with this month.
Highlights:
Enemies & Combat
• 3 new Hunters with unique pressure mechanics: Lurker, Core, Surge
• 1 new Elite enemy: Gunner
• 27 unique enemy designs across Hunters, Elites, Specials, and standard enemies - more on the way
• Expanded Special enemy abilities: Exploders, Radioactive, Runners, Ranged, Electric and Hybrids
• New ability: Jump Boost (mobility aggressive combos)
• Reworked Hunter behavior to counter vertical gameplay (no more safe high ground)
Systems & Features
• Weapon customization (attachments, mags, skins - all lootable)
• New Daylight lighting full day/night support across all procedurally generated maps
Polish & Performance
• Major performance improvements across core systems
• New and updated VFX, SFX, and music
