Getting the 23 potato crop in a corner now but it looks like tonightโs rain is going to just beat us to the finish line ๐. Considerably less than the 15mm of rain forecast would be greatly appreciated!!

Finally into the wheat ๐พ so halfway through. 10 more days to go ๐ค. All yields disappointing particularly the winter beans which looked so promising.

Bit of a brown trouser moment today when a sink hole developed on the headland in the beet field we were lifting. Harvester and trailers had been over the area several times already then one of the tractors just suddenly began to drop out of site๐ฎ
