This bill seeks to strip away the people’s sovereign right to directly elect their President, handing that power to a captured Parliament dominated by corrupt @ZANUPF_Official elites and stooges. It proposes extending presidential, parliamentary, and local authority terms from five to seven years, enlarging the Senate with presidential appointees, transferring control of the voters’ roll, and dismantling key commissions. Hatcliffe constituency member of parliament Hon Agerncy Gumbo rightly dismissed CAB3 as an effort to entrench power, to allow the current regime to extend its hold without genuine popular mandate, moving the nation towards corruption, economic, social and political instability! This is a call to resist democratic malaise, reject Agenda 2030 and demand a referendum on constitutional bill amendment 3!
