Three people unemployed for every vacant job. Canada is sitting on some of the largest energy and natural resource reserves on the planet. Oil. Gas. Coal. Critical minerals. Wealth that could be powering thousands of direct and indirect jobs right now. Jobs in your community. Jobs that pay well. Jobs that can build up communities. Instead, our government has spent years making it harder, not easier, to get those resources out of the ground. While Canadians send out resumes and hear nothing back the wealth sits in the ground. Locked away. By choice. Help us build a stronger economy at breaking-point.ca

Some provinces are starting to turn away businesses because they don't have enough energy. In a country sitting on the third largest oil reserves on the planet. This is what happens when your government wages war on your own energy industry. We could be powering our economy and other economies. Instead we're watching provinces say no to growth because we don't have enough energy. Canada should be an energy superpower. Our government chooses otherwise. Help us build a stronger economy at breaking-point.ca

The people who actually live where these mines are support them, but Corb Lund thinks he knows better.

It's true. The energy debate isn't just about theoretical matters. Real people are impacted when the government decides to shut down their jobs.

This is why it's not just Alberta that needs Albertan oil and gas. All of Canada benefits from it!

Chinese automakers are eyeing Canada as a place to assemble "knock-down kits" under the EV mandate. The vehicles are built almost entirely in China, shipped here in pieces, and put together by a small Canadian workforce before being sold to consumers. Canada's auto parts industry warns that a plant producing 150,000 vehicles can support thousands of jobs and generate billions in economic activity. A knock-down kit operation employs only a fraction of those workers while most of the value, parts, and supply chain remain in China. Canadians were promised the EV transition would create jobs here at home. Instead, we're opening the door for Chinese manufacturers to capture more of our market while Canada's auto sector continues to shrink.

One of the biggest weaknesses of the anti-coal campaign is they intentionally blur thermal coal and metallurgical coal.

Albertans are being asked to sign a petition to permanently ban Eastern Slopes coal development without seeing the economic case. These projects will employ hundreds of workers, generate hundreds of millions in royalties, and hundreds of millions in local investment.

This is counterproductive to making life more affordable in Canada.

This petition does not pause new coal mining or tighten the rules. It asks for legislation to ban it on the Eastern Slopes for good. Permanent decisions should not be made without everything on the table: the water science, the treatment record, the technology, and the economic cost to real communities. Right now the petition gives you one side.
