so in latvian language figure skating is called “daiļslidošana” which is a compound of two words - daiļš (beautiful) and slidošana (skating) as in yes, beautiful skating. so in that sense this is maybe the most latvian thing deniss has ever done

this is how a sport dedicated rink in my hometown Kharkiv (which Vadym Kolesnik is from) looks like because russians hit it. and you say russians lose their careers due to ban.
