Cote D'Ivoire out shin kicking Ecuador was not something I expected. How are they kicking the hell out of a South American side. Diomande is a hit the byline specialist. Not many fullbacks can stop him from doing that.

Ecuador hit the crossbar the second time. I like this version of Caicedo. The more ball playing one and not the shin kicker we got in the second half of the season. Get him some help with a proper dueller.

I understand the measures put in place to curb unnecessary delays in games but Caicedo was genuinely kicked there and should've been a free kick to his team. How did he rather get punish for going down justifiably.

This has been one of the most evenly matched games at the tournament so far and I think Gakpo should be transitioning into a centre forward. He doesn't have the facilities for an elite winger even though he can be great on his day.

Curacao have some threat in transition but unfortunately, they don't have a solid defensive structure to cope out of possession. Such a shame because they get Germany in trouble when they are in transitions.

Bouaddi was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch. What a performance by the teenager. Brazil are certainly getting packed early even if they progress from the group.

Morocco have been good but they would've been better with Ezzalzouli. He is a great outlet for them and they are missing his explosive runs from the left flank.

I haven't had any criticisms over the tournament so far but the half time interview got to go. Why are there trying to interview the players at half time after they've run under the intense heat for over 45 mins. Let them rest.

I like these new rules. It will really help incompetent Premier League referees. A lot of decisions sometimes need to be reviewed not only offside, red card and penalty calls.

This has been the best performance by any team so far at the tournament. Malik Tillman has been incredible. Some great passes to find runners and that was some finish by Balogun. Statement performance.

This is the best I've seen from Malik Tillman. He's been very good on and off the ball so far. USA should be leading by 2. That chance had to be taken by Balogun or Dest
