This whole abortion thing...it's such an importantly personal decision and shouldn't be political. One of my best friends is only alive today because his mom chose to have an abortion, and then later chose not to. How do you ever balance those scales?

He's a wonderful person, so is she, but she wasn't ready or healthy enough for a child at the time she chose to get one. Later, things were better, and I have one of the most important people in my life, who wouldn't exist without the option to choose.
