After talking it over with some people, I'm sucking it up and updating my goal. Since I have some energy, I'll give as much detail as I can.
(Links and details below).
Goal: $500 (minimum, but I don't want to ask for more.)

Social security is still cutting my income to 0. I'm a trans woman in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy and been told by multiple doctors I can't work. Losing my only income source will kill me. I'm also homeless in a hotel

The PAI logo is on the bottom left. Text on the bottom right reads: I'm speaking at Policy Action Institute. Arlington, VA and online - June 9-10, 2026 (with optional Hill Day June 11).
In a session moderated by Maggie Bartlett, Lacey Connelly, Tracie Potts, MSJ, and I will break down what effective organizing looks like in practice and how to talk to community members with differing perspectives including what works, what doesn’t
and how to strengthen your impact at the local level. We hope to help you learn how to turn community engagement into real policy change by building strong coalitions and mobilizing around shared goals. I'm so excited to #SpeakForHealth!

Step 2: discontinue the known forecasting tools and replace them with a trash can
Step 3: diminish the public’s faith in NWS forecasters
Project 2025 was never going to skip NOAA or the NWS, and you should have known that.
This is a big deal. On August 31st, the RRFS and REFS will officially become operational. These models will replace a handful of models that have been in use for years. This includes the NAM and NAM 3k, HREF, SREF, and HiresW (including the ARW, NSSL, and FV3 CAMs). #wxtwitter
