For those that did not know, void chunking could also cause TCrash to chunk.

The more I think about D2 being over and the franchise being canned the less sad I get and just more angry. Like I think if a magic 8 ball was used to make decisions for the future of the game over the last 10 years D2 would have always been in a better spot. Idk how ppl who don't understand the game or playerbase got leadership roles

Read the full blog at bung.ie/d2_may_21_2026 For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

Destiny is such an irreplaceable game. Ever since I got Destiny 1 for my 10th birthday, it’s been with me through the highs and the lowest of lows for almost 12 years, and now to see it thrown to the side is so unbelievably devastating. A game that has led to so many friendships and amazing experiences, now gone. Nothing will be able to fill the hole left in its absence.

I know this is marathon, but I feel like this mentality is part of the reason why d2 is the way it is today. People ask for a chase and the only chase they can give is rng because everyone can do it 😐
Something needs to be done about matchmaking against fully kitted players with free kits. The amount of times I want to just load into a free kit run to get some better gear for cryo or something and just die within 3 minutes to a fully kitted team is unreal

Guys the only way to stop a habit of scrolling on Twitter is raiding in clash of clans

I think the portal has really highlighted d2's progression issue that has existed for a really long time. Like there is no path for what you should do, barely any meaningful encouragement/reward for getting better.

Made a slight change to the placement of Edge of Fate and Renegades
Thoughts? Note: DLC ranking includes the whole year's worth of content if applicable. Also takes general progression and sandbox into account.

One place where I'd love to see more expansion of activity customization is Raids and Dungeons, particularly being able to fine tune the power delta of the activity yourself. Below you're seeing a concept image of what this could potentially look like for a "Custom difficulty Vault of Glass", featuring a neat little slider that goes from 0 to -70 power in increments of 10, as well as nodes that allow you to toggle on/off typical Master Raid Surges, Overcharges, Champions and challenges, plus feats as well. Harsh deltas like -50 or lower are almost certainly unclearable or really hard, despite this though I still think it would be a cool option to have so that players may simulate Contest/harder experiences in order to practice for day 1s or to overcome an exceptional challenge. Fun fact it was actually possible to simulate -50, -60 or -70 Raids before Edge of Fate using lower Power gear, and speaking from personal experience these were really great for day one practice, but ever since Raid deltas were introduced in EoF, you can't do this anymore. Now I know this isn't the most pressing issue the game is facing right now, but I still wanted to express my feedback about it because I think giving players more freedom and opportunities to challenge themselves is never a bad thing, and could potentially lead to some cool moments! Imagine being able to re-create the conditions for day 1 Herald or complete a -70 Riven legit, if that's even possible, but that's the fun part! Finding out if it is :) Please let me know your thoughts, also huge props to @CourtProjects for the awesome graphic as usual.
