@buildkata and I connected in the #claudecode community channel and had a great back and forth on how we were using claude code. So figured it would be fun to re-hash live over a twitter space. Anyone is welcome and we are just going to jam on some of the not so obvious ways we are using cc.

For the last 4 months we have been logging every Claude Code, Cowork and claude.ai session to a central data repository and built an MCP server on top of it. We use the claude OTEL connector and custom hooks for when data is not available by default.
With the MCP server, every claude code session can talk to any other session across time. I can ask how other coworkers solved similar problems, or what our UI team would do in this situation. We started deploying it in clients environment and they start to ask claude how other analysts on their team modeled a similar name in their coverage. It has started to really snowball.
But then we started running agents to summarize sessions and find trends. We now have a system that automatically identifies which skills we need that don't exist yet and auto create them based off what users are saying. We have frustration detection for new users and we know when they have issues before they tell us. All this just happens automatically. It is getting really fun.
I ran cc sdk in an overnight job with 20 sessions in parallel to crawl 5 SQLServer hosts, airflow logs, and source code. I used sub agents, several custom clis (no mcp), stored output in kuzu knowledge graph. Enterprise client. INCREDIBLE RESULTS. $2,600 in credits WELL spent
It’s been a big week for Claude Code.

💯 days since joining @Diageo_NA Ventures to help grow VC & @DistillVentures. While uncommon to pivot from a decade in tech to consumer, I've picked up some key learnings applicable in any industry - whether alcohol, startup, tech, consumer.

As a lifelong pythonista, I have always known Python was inspired by a language called ABC. But I never knew much about it until I stumbled on this article on HN. Fun piece of history to kickoff the weekend!

1/ I am short Eth vs many L1s in medium and long term. Spent ~1k hrs writing solidity/vyper for evm and rust for solana. Deployed L1s with substrate and ignite, invested since 2013. Long time eth fan but feel there is a emperor without clothes right now.
4/ Long Term, dydx's move to cosmos is a HUGE blow to the shared security L2 block space demand narrative. Why would tier 1 apps (Uni, Aave) not do the same? They get an L1 token premium, faster txns, no eth tax, and their token becomes yield bearing by validating the network.
5/ Eth will still go up with beta and fill a use case for a good ecosystem with security. This is great for slow moving treasuries, assets, and apps that can abstract away the warts. But relative to other L1s, it will fall behind, won't catch up, and bleed market share.
Interest rates go up, BTC goes down. It sounds overly simple but just look at the US 2 Month Treasury Rates (yellow) and the inverse BTC price (purple). It doesn't take an expert to figure this out.
And this increase is going to continue to happen through the end of the year, no way around it. If that happens there is no reason to believe crypto wont move in lockstep.
So if I am going long BTC and short AVAX am I:
1. Short AVAX residual vol?
2. Short beta because AVAX is higher beta?
3. Short a style factor (user base) bc BTC usage > AVAX?
4. All above?
5. Just aping and clicking buttons

Market neutral L1 long spreads (btc-sol, btc-avax, and btc-near) spreads on #dydx have been doing very well over last 2 weeks. Would love a CAPM model right now for crypto to plug into if anyone knows any?

1. @VitalikButerin has an excellent overview of proposer builder separation and touches on MEV opportunities for builders that have "Proprietary Order Flow". It's VERY similar to the opportunity @robinhood has when they capture retail order flow.
notes.ethereum.org/@vbuterin…
5. And this could be a good thing! If RobinHood wants to subsidize gas fees with MEV, and users can control slippage tolerance on apps like Uniswap, and build a better wallet experience, why not?
6. It will be interesting to see more wallet providers/partnership programs creep in that can capture retail flow and monetize via pay-for-order-flow to builders. Biggest concern is if enough flows go through this model, will builders be able to sensor transactions? We will see!
