Es gibt keine kulturelle Vielfalt. Es gibt kulinarische Vielfalt. Es gibt musikalische Vielfalt. Es gibt lyrische Vielfalt. Es gibt architektonische Vielfalt. Menschen sind in ihren Lebensentwürfen vielfältig. Kultur selbst ist jedoch die gemeinsame Ordnung einer Gesellschaft – die Summe ihrer geschriebenen und ungeschriebenen Regeln und damit gerade nicht vielfältig sondern explizit. Sie beantwortet grundlegende Fragen des Zusammenlebens: Was gilt als gerecht? Wie werden Konflikte gelöst? Welche Verhaltensweisen sind tabu? Wo mehrere konkurrierende Ordnungen gleichzeitig Geltung beanspruchen, entsteht nicht Vielfalt, sondern Konflikt und Gewalt.

Solange wir in einer Gesellschaft leben, in der man ungestört öffentlich darüber schwadronieren kann, Reiche zu exekutieren, aber nicht darüber, wie man hunderttausende Ausreisepflichtige außer Landes schafft, leben wir nicht in einer freien Gesellschaft.

Nach Bärbel Bas‘ „#Einheitsbraun“-Entgleisung bleibt es in fast allen Medien (und natürlich im ÖRR) still. Eine Bundesministerin diffamiert das eine Volk und die meisten Medien ignorieren es. Das ist wohl nur in Deutschland möglich.

Es macht alles Sinn, wenn man begreift, dass der Staat nicht den Bürger sondern sich selbst schützen will.
