Diet culture: don’t put oil on your salad, it’s ~ healthier ~ Reality : you need fat on your veggies to absorb the fat soluble vitamins that are in your greens
Motivation tip for when you really don’t want to workout : start with 10 minutes. If you still hate it, stop. But you might find that’s all you needed to get out of your head and into your body. Get going!
The thing with body image, is that it’s a fickle AF. Your body actually rarely changes from day-to-day, but it’s our perspective of it that does. Just because you think it- doesn’t mean it’s true.
✨Body neutrality tip✨ focus on tangible goals that aren’t related to body shape or size. Give yourself new goals related to other types of progress- how strong you feel, how happy you are etc. It doesn’t have to be & shouldn’t be always about your body!

Happy #SharkWeek chums! There was a time in my life where I got this card a couple of times every birthday.

I promise, you won’t be happier when you’re “skinnier”. Figuring out the WHY behind the need to be skinny, or smaller, will bring you so much more happiness.
ASK for what you want! You can’t be butt hurt if you’re not explicit with your needs. No one can read your mind, babe.
One day you’ll realize, there’s no special prize for not eating the things you want to eat. No one actually cares! You aren’t worth any less because you had a cookie before dinner, and you aren’t worth any more if you waited until after. #nofoodrules
The thing about body image is that it’s SO subjective and not fully based on our body’s shape. See, our bodies actually rarely change that much from day-to-day, but our perception of it does. Try to remember that you are when you’re having a low body day.
Consistency is so much easier to keep when you’re not starting and stopping all of the time. It’s ok to take a break! In fact you need breaks. But don’t tell yourself it’s over, because that means you’ll have to start again. Take the break, get back up again.
If you’re having a low body image day, DONT force yourself to wear clothes that make you feel worse. Actually wearing clothes you’re happy to wear, that don’t dig in, helps you find body neutrality a lot quicker.

Just because you have the free time, doesn’t mean you have to make yourself available.
Let’s normalize not voting on people’s IG polls unless they apply to you/you’re actually interested in what they’re asking about.
You know how you’re feeling right now? That like lack of motivation and blah but also resentment? Now imagine if you work for yourself and no one is putting in any effort to support your effort....But you don’t get paid unless they do- now what? #supportsmallbusiness
✨Today’s affirmation: My body is my home, and my home is my body.
Breaks should be an essential part of your workday, not a reward. Normalize taking breaks, it’s ok to rest. #PandemicBurnout
Grateful for people that don’t acknowledge when you end a work call and realize you said ‘see you soon’, when you in fact, have no intention of seeing them soon. You are this years MVP 🥲
