Proximity to wealth is affecting our generation a lot, and we no longer understand the value for money/labour. A typical example of this is someone whose bf/gf or club buddies are super rich, and can ball 500k in one night at the club and always pick them up in fancy cars. They start thinking they’re in that same calibre and this affects their ability to directly know their value in the labour market. Why should I work 9-5 24days a month(NYSC graduate with no single experience) for 100k when we(their money is not inside oo) spend 500k in one night at the club. People driving corolla are broke and not in my level because I enter Benz and Porsche everytime (which doesn’t belong to them).
