I am still here and so are the whales we are still working and building releases... you all saw me build and deploy new stuff and the dectralization plan for the relayer earlier this week. Nothing is going anywhere. And yes we have internal disagreements and I am sick but still showing up so we are gonna keep on going and Monday whales and the chat and the socials will clarify exactly who is doing what.

Someone hid a self-replicating worm inside 37 npm packages.
Written in Rust.
Hidden behind an eBPF kernel rootkit.
Talking to its operator over Tor.
It steals 86 environment variables.
AWS keys. GCP keys. Vault secrets. Kubernetes tokens.
Your Anthropic API key. Your OpenAI key.
Your Exodus wallet seed phrase.
Then it uses your own npm credentials to republish itself into your packages.
So your code infects the next developer.
Who infects the next one.
The commits were backdated up to 13 years.
The commit author name was “claude.”
The malware named itself after the AI to hide in plain sight.
The attacker also left their own wallet recovery phrase in the debug data.
Nobody is having a good day.

Taking a moment.
A year ago this was math on a whiteboard. Lattices, proofs, late nights, a thesis nobody asked for. The kind of work that historically only happens inside something like Bell Labs or early IBM... institutions with billions in funding and a mandate to turn theory into reality.
We did it w a small team.
Theoretical math → working product → real users. Not a deck. Not a roadmap. A thing that runs, that people use, that helps them.
Market cap doesn't measure that. Usage curves don't measure that. What measures it is the fact that it exists at all and that the team who built it is still here, still shipping, still hungry.
I'm proud of every person who got us here. And the best part: we're not done. We get to keep building.
