3/ The Multilingual Illusion 🌍
This was the real dealbreaker. I tested the multilingual models on Hinglish (Hindi English mix).
It failed completely.
It forces a weird, unnatural accent on the words and can't handle code-switching. If you step outside standard US/UK English, the illusion breaks.

If you’re a developer who wants to tinker with local AI models on your own hardware, Voicebox is fascinating.
But for actual creators? Open-source isn't ready to dethrone the commercial APIs just yet. The gap in emotion, reliability, and code-switching is still too wide.

There’s a quiet satisfaction in closing out a major refactoring sprint with a perfectly green test suite. 🚀
Today’s progress:
🧹 Cleaned up heavy legacy code.
🏗️ Standardized testing architecture across the application.
🧪 Achieved 100% coverage on deeply nested custom hooks.
Built with React, Vitest, and React Testing Library. The codebase is now cleaner and more maintainable than I found it.
