We (ie. @tobylunt) made a district-level COVID forecast for India: devdatalab.org/covid-forecas… A lot of places are past the peak of the second wave. In a lot of places, case counts are still rising. We show Rt calculated from a model based on Bettencourt and Soman (2020). 🧵1/3

We are so fortunate to work with you @AditiBhowmick18 - thank you for sharing your story and for your leadership at DDL!
I grew up across Jharkhand , West Bengal and Orissa. In 7th grade I convinced father to send me to a boarding school way beyond our means. He took an 11 yr old seriously bc he swears by intergenerational mobility having spent a lot of his childhood at refugee camp! 1/n
