si tienes que defender unos tacos en inglés, creo que por default perdiste
The reason Orinoco gets so much hate in Mexico City is because *chilangos* take pride in cheap, grungy spots.
Orinoco started in Monterrey, in the north…an area known for having better meat quality, a better business mindset, and valuing a clean environment.
That’s why it became popular with tourists. It is more visually appealing than a taquería in a dirty alleyway.
The fact that they also serve flour tortillas angers chilangos, who claim it’s not Mexican, and the fact that they charge $2 a taco prices some casual local eaters out.
