Strangely, 'employee simulation' is important for both machine learning, and for our growth as a Species.
Read that again.
In our efforts to replace the dull jobs that no one wants, we uncovered the key to our Societal Woes. Not because of the Great replacement: but in spite of it.
By simulating, even in a game, common tasks: we become more empathetic to the people that actually do the tasks. When engineers get an understanding of each task: they obtain the insights needed to optimize them.
By simulating: we get access to the hidden world that economics *attempts* to describe!
Like building a Rocket, or a new Medicine - we encourage AI to understand the deep mechanics of each activity.
The economic geniuses of the last century certainly were brilliant. Many of them are still underappreciated. Yet: no human will ever harness the intellectual *context window* that AI currently has.
Name any genius, and see how well they run a Bakery 😛
By simulating the basic tasks that our Species have toiled over during our recorded history - the entire truth of the toil has become blatantly obvious.
The “rich” can't delegate society to robots. Pure fantasy. In 2026, they too realized the beautiful cacophony of misery that our recent ancestors have manifested.
I write this hoping that the acolytes of tyrants also recognize this truth. They probably already have.
In that realization, it's important to feel the weight of that toil. Ask yourself: if we created a technological Marvel, but were tricked into hating it by the people whom rule over us - which 'side' is wrong?
