I almost set up Google Analytics out of habit. Then I remembered Vercel has built-in analytics.
30 seconds to enable. No scripts, no config, no extra packages. Every Next.js route shows up automatically. Clean data, fast, nothing you don't need.
Try it before reaching for GA.

We're already dependent. Free tiers are shrinking. At what point does coding without AI feel like driving without GPS, and who controls the price when that day comes?

Years ago I built a portfolio with a template and didn't take it seriously. Now I get it. Brought it back, added Google Analytics and Formspree for contact forms.
Not perfect. But it's live and it works. Every developer needs a portfolio. Not a perfect one. Just one that exists.

I upgraded my CV recently. Looked back at my old one and wanted to throw it in the trash. 😭
What I changed:
→ Removed the objective nobody reads
→ Used action verbs
→ Added real numbers
→ Made my projects impossible to ignore

Building the product is the easy part. Marketing is a whole different skill.
I built a school platform solo - enrollment, dashboards, blog, payments, attendance. The code I can handle. Getting people to find it? That's the hard part. 😄
