You can go at my github profile github.com/dr-orlovsky and check the amount of work I am doing. 100% of it is open-source and non-profit. I am doing many things in parallel. Still able to maintain about ~100 rust repos, with some of them having 100k downloads (for instance I was the guy who wrote the most of rust-bitcoin code in 2019-2022, until I was extinguished from the community, and also declined a grant from Kraken). All my work is payed with donations from very few people & companies which are not yet poisoned with “stacking sats” idiotism from bitcoin maxis and understand that the code (including @FulgurVentures @hojofoundation @nymproject @radicle), ultra-complex consensus-level protocols and software are not appearing by themselves. We still have no funds to hire even a single dev on @mycitadel_io other than me (since my maintenance and performance require a fucking lot per month) - since VCs like @egodeathcapital @trammellvc @ltngventures and non-profits like @spiralbtc and @bitcoinbrink do not believe in what we are doing - or in “stacking sats” mode at least until the next bull cycle. Of course another reason is that I am not politically correct and do not match their agenda of supporting and investing into companies like @Lightninglabs fundraising 80 millions on stealing intellectual results of my work - and giving nothing in return. Anyway, in 2022 I went bankrupt since I had put all my bitcoins at stake of my tech and lost. Now I am fully dependent on external life support. And with very few highly-valuable exclusions I do not see that bitcoin community needs me. So, provably, I will eventually go away of sats-stacking lovers to places where extreme productivity is more valued than stupid sitting on the stash of gold awaiting while others will move the tech progress forward for you for free. Bad news: they won’t.
