This house belongs to my friend in Exminster, Devon. Her cob wall started to collapse 3 weeks ago. @avivaplc will not take the claim because it wasn't a named storm? Can this be correct? 50 days of rain! Sally has always looked after her house. Can anyone advise?

Waving at trains: On a train from Blackpool to Preston and a couple of ramblers waved at the train. Several of us in the carriage spontaneously waved back and I suddenly felt like I was in an Ealing Film :-) Lovely how some very old traditions havenโt disappeared.
