Poor guy saw his home's value drop to essentially zero.
Ain't no one buying a house to deal with that noise 24/7
Oliver was one of the most genuine, creative, and talented friends I’ve ever made doing any of this stuff. We lost a true artist today. Why they had to take you, I don’t know. I’m in disbelief, sad, confused. We will miss you brother. 💔
anyone who knew oliver would tell you he was the most encouraging guy in the world. if you didn't believe in yourself, he did it for you. we used to stay up late chillin in the hot tub for WAY too long looking at the sky, and he'd tell me i could do anything. miss you man, 1 of 1
people are so horrible now it's so upsetting seeing all of the hateful comments on posts about oliver tree's death. cant be empathetic for one fucking second
Just gonna put it out there - not every opinion you have needs to be heard!
If you didn't like his music that's ok! But people are grieving right now and you should show a little courtesy.
Saw Oliver Tree at ACL '22.
He had this amazing bit where after each song, he'd say "Thank you ACL, I have one more song to play" for the entire 60-minute set.
His music wasn't for everyone, but he pushed boundaries, and stuck to his creative guns.
That left an impression on me well after I grew out of his music.
True 1/1. RIP.
The saddest part of an artist dying and especially a young artist is knowing how much more they would have loved to create and how many ideas died with them
and fuck everyone who is turning a young man’s tragic death into a joke I actually hate twitter
nothing matters more to yall than trying to make a hit tweet and it’s frying your brains and your capacity for empathy
Oliver Tree was a creative who was unapologetically himself, and that’s something I will always admire.
R.I.P, another great artist gone too soon in such a tragic way.
