Oliver was one of the most genuine, creative, and talented friends I’ve ever made doing any of this stuff. We lost a true artist today. Why they had to take you, I don’t know. I’m in disbelief, sad, confused. We will miss you brother. 💔

Saw Oliver Tree at ACL '22.
He had this amazing bit where after each song, he'd say "Thank you ACL, I have one more song to play" for the entire 60-minute set.
His music wasn't for everyone, but he pushed boundaries, and stuck to his creative guns.
That left an impression on me well after I grew out of his music.
True 1/1. RIP.
