In my trading journey and beyond, 3 words have made the biggest impact.
They took me from a struggling trader who almost quit and got a headache at the mere sight of a chart, to a multiple account funded trader.

Everyday, you can learn something new about your trading habits.
Recently, the time I get into the market hasn't been consistent. When I get on charts before London open, I see good setups for the day. But on days I enter after, e nor too dey click.
Who else notices?

A losing day, week or even month, doesn't automatically make you an I profitable trader.
Likewise a winning day, week, or month, doesn't make you a profitable trader.
The proof is in the consistency. Keep winning!

Backtesting is studying the recipe, the outcome is known already
Forward testing is cooking the meal yourself.
A strategy may look perfect on past charts, but forward testing reveals whether you can execute it when the outcome is still unknown. I really do not backtest.

Choose the hard path. Embrace the boring routine, follow your risk management plan, and review your losing (and winning) trades.
Stick with it through the hard times, and I promise you, the reward at the end will be far greater than you can imagine.
DO. HARD. THINGS.
