Food for thought: * Federal minimum wage is $7.25, the same since 2009 * If minimum wage was indexed to CPI/inflation, it would be $11 (since 2009) Do with that what you will.

2 years building text-to-SQL taught me one thing: it demos beautifully and breaks on real schemas. A query that runs and returns a confidently incomplete answer is worse than one that errors out. honest question for anyone shipping data agents 👇
0% Bounded set, always right
0% Any question,mostly right
0% Depends on the use case

You have to love how capitalism punished humans so quickly. AI (and specifically Robotics) has to be one of the most cutting-edge fields, requiring advanced knowledge, training and education. Here's a robotics startup based in San Jose (one of the most expensive areas of the country) with a $30/hr contract job requiring people in office Mon-Fri. To put in perspective, you could probably earn similar at a San Jose grocery store. share.google/o0WYqoZUBFOizMt…

Time and time again, the "rent vs buy" debate looks simple on the surface but is apples to oranges underneath. They make it look like you can get the exact same house either renting or buying for the same price, when buying the exact same unit with amenities normally would be 2.5-3x the price. youtu.be/nJDONF_ZC_4

I cannot get over how literally my entire twitter timeline agrees with this sentiment yet Beane doesn't see it. What are we missing?
Your starting defensive lineman and linebackers literally can’t stop the run and you’re worried about your backup CBs defending the pass.

We are in the worst job environment in maybe 100 years: nobody can get in, and nobody wants to get out. What mortgage rates, AI and economic uncertainty has created is a zero churn environment, where everyone is afraid to take risks, companies do not promote, and everything is frozen. This will not end well. share.google/gu3t8zDyHeLoatc…

The government says inflation averaged 3.3% over the last decade. Your insurance: 6.8% Your house: 5.4% Your car: 5.1% Your kids' school: 4.3% Your groceries: 3.5% 8/10 categories beat the 'average.' That's not an average. That's a talking point.

The math for the 2026 job seeker is broken. 📉 • Median liquid savings: $8,000 • Avg. monthly expenses: $6,545 • Avg. job search duration: ~25 weeks Most Americans have a 5-week runway for a 25-week journey. Long hiring cycles aren’t just "annoying"—they are a direct fast-track to household debt. We need to stop treating 5-round interview marathons as the norm. It’s time to make hiring seamless, respect candidate time, and bridge the "Debt Gap." 🛠️💼 #Hiring #FutureOfWork #Economy2026
