The 2026 Guinea election was rigged, but so transparently it's funny >Just give a load of parties exactly enough votes to win one seat >No don't give them the almost the exact same numbers of votes, change one of the numbers >Got it, boss

Bragging about taking 10 days to count 2 million ballots okay bro The UK counted 28,809,340 ballots in 2024 and they were all counted (excluding 1 recount) within 24 hours
Did you know LA County is the largest county in the country? With 2,217,796 ballots cast, LA County's vote total exceeds the combined vote count of five of the nation's largest counties that have held primaries so far, which together cast 2,103,322 ballots.

You love to see it ❤️
Lost my @OxfordUnion virginity last night. @blackfordian1, @DesmondSwayne, @rachelmillward, student Prajwal Pandey and I opposed the motion ‘This House believes Reform is fit to govern.’ @AndrewRosindell, @GoodwinMJ, @GHWTowler & @McivorJaymey on the other side. We won 271-51.

The 2028 US presidential election won't be for 2 years yet we already know what it's gonna look like *predicting US politics is always a very stupid idea, and this will likely look very stupid when November 2028 rolls around

This summer I have decided to start learning the piano, learn to drive, learn more Japanese, do more coding, pick up tennis again, go to the gym, but I find this list too short and I don't have any more ideas on what to do

What if I say it's time to nationalise all the exam boards and bring them under the Standards and Testing Agency
Exclusive: Exam board AQA has apologised after students sitting a GCSE maths paper this morning found that the exam contained information intended for another paper tes.com/magazine/news/genera…

As a sidenote I find it very funny that England already has an existent national Exam agency, but it's only for primary schools, and secondary schools/sixth forms have to use private companies for some reason

I have to wonder, is having a national provider that provides SOME exams, then having a regulator overseeing private companies for other exams, really the best and most cost effective way of running the system

One of my Japanese friends taught me "眠い眠いにゃんこなんだけど" is a 'casual way to say you're sleepy' but I'm worried they may have taught me Gyaru slang

I don't know which party I'll vote for in the next UK general election... In my home constituency, Reform UK have a 95% chance of winning (vs Labour). In my University constituency, the Tories have like an 80% chance of winning (vs Lib Dem), I cannot figure out which to vote in

If I tactically vote, I choose my university constituency since it's slightly less of a dead cert If I vote with my heart, I should choose my home constituency since Reform wins whatever I do. unless I want the Lib Dems, then, I should choose university as they can win there
