How can anyone think this is ok? Regardless of your political stance - left, right, centre etc etc etc? And, indifference is just plain inhuman.

Indian TV reporters’ new favourite phrases anyone? Are you bothered by their use of ‘suo moto’ in totally random contexts?

Dear dear dear @anaggh. I’m heartbroken . My deepest sympathies to his beloved N and K, and love and hugs to all those whose lives he touched with his special kindness, wisdom, wit and generosity. I’ll miss his gentle teasing manner, his opinions, and his big big heart 💔

Remembering #Surekha. Her words so powerful as she lit up our feeds with her special light but her silent support, love and generosity even stronger. And, she @surekha always showed up 💔. These tributes are pure love

My father died an hour ago. He was admitted to hospital two weeks ago, all systems failing, couldn't recognise us. Picked up Covid while there, because hey, he always tried everything at a buffet. Can't even say what finally took him. I guess he died of life, like we all will.

So, a significant day for us at @medianama today. An especially difficult decision for me to make, since I've always felt a pull from a public interest perspective that information, in order to be effective and usable by a wider group, needs to be open, and accessible 1/

“It was me the victim who had to stand up in the court as an accused” says #PriyaRamani. This is so emblematic of the patriarchal system in India - at the workplace, and in homes/communities supposed to be safe places. Women are put on trial constantly for speaking up and out.

A victory for all women in India! Hope this encourages more women to speak up

Court: Time has come for our society to understand that sometimes a victim may for years not speak up due to the mental trauma. The woman cannot be punished for raising her voice against sexual abuse.
