A week ago I started building Bifrost - a lightweight observability tool for small setups.
Today the MVP is working.
What it does:
→ Add multiple agents (one per server/VPS)
→ See real-time status and resource usage
→ View container logs organized by compose services
→ Basic RBAC (admin/viewer roles)
It's completely headless. Run the agent on any system you want to monitor. That's it.
No complex setup.
No multiple dashboards.
Just one clean UI for everything.
The logs view is basic right now but it works. I can see what's running, where resources are going, and debug issues without jumping between tools.
This is exactly what I needed for my Docker apps on VPS.
Next up: improving the logs UI and adding alerts.

Since I have started following geopolitics seriously, I have realized one very crucial thing.
Morality, emotions, justice, faith, good & bad, religions, fear of god, etc etc etc, everything is just for us, for people in power I don't think any of this matters at all.
I have observed duality in nature of leaders. The worst part is that no matter how much we hate it, we have to live in this world.

I don’t understand how people are able to create good landing pages in one shot. I’ve tried Antigravity, Codex, and Lovable, but none of them worked for me. I’m not sure if it’s a skill issue or if AI tools are just overhyped.

Today I was feeling sick so were not able to do any task at all.
Doing some last moment tests after deployments, should be ready to use from tomorrow.

Finally got the Bifrost dashboard looking sharp! 🔥
Had to check out tons of open-source monitoring tools to nail the vibe, and yeah… this is very much inspired by Beszel.
Loved how clean/modern/simple it is.

I personally believe that the engineering roles won't disappear but there will definitely be major changes and I'm really curious that what kind of new responsibilities we will see emerge in future or a complete new roles like Applied AI engineer.

This guys are just not taking any break. You wake up and there's another new feature.
You can now enable Claude to use your computer to complete tasks.
It opens your apps, navigates your browser, fills in spreadsheets—anything you'd do sitting at your desk.
Research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, macOS only.
