Switched my wake up time to 7 AM (from 9 AM) and it has made a world of difference. I get maybe an hour less sleep, but I get two awesome hours in the morning to get a lot done. I think I have more energy actually 🤔

Just think, if HTML came out in the late 2000s, it probably would have been called UTML (UberText Markup Language) instead of the more 90s "Hypertext" variation 🤔

🍉 🍋 🫐 🍓 being macerated so I can mix with champagne or white wine vinegar (depending on the fruit). Will combine 🍉 🍋 to make 🍉 lemonade, add mostly tonic water, garnish with basil. Maybe mix in a splash of 🫐 shrub. Refreshing, non-alcoholic summer drinks!

And that’s what you’re left with! The watermelon and lemons can be macerated a few times. You can simmer the excess water off too. In a few days I’ll add champagne vinegar.

I took .@graeters vanilla ice cream, drizzled some salted caramel honey sauce, and topped it with strawberry shrub sauce. The sauce is tart because of the vinegar so it balances the sweet and salty. Shrubs aren’t just for drinks!

For the lemon shrub: I pan seared dry scallops and finished with garlic, white wine, butter, smoked sea salt, and the lemon shrub to make a sauce.

Got the Moderna vaccine this morning. Only side effect so far (it’s been over 17 hours) has been arm pain. Entire left arm is sore and weak. Other than that, nothing!
