Regal took a big placement in Opthea punting its stage 3 trial for a drug to address macular degeneration would come through. It failed. An investor asked a pre-AGM question as to why Opthea was in Regal’s Asia fund & Charlie responded that the disease is big in Asia. Hmmmm!

Blue Owl's solution to rising redemptions:
Step 1: Block redemptions in $1B retail fund
Step 2: Force merger with fund trading 20% below NAV
Step 3: Investors take 20% loss, lose redemption rights permanently
Step 4: CFO calls it a "no-brainer at 95 cents"
Redemptions climbed to 6% of NAV in Q3
So they eliminated redemptions entirely
