The Draft Lottery is over, which means the SportCLT NBA Draft guide is now FREE, available for everyone.
This took tons of hours to make, I think it turned out as the best draft resource ever created for Hornets fans. Check it out, it's free: (link below)
The Hornets have started to be named in the yearly offseason rumors, so I took a look at three somewhat realistic trade possibilities, including one which gears Charlotte towards a playoff run:
Krysten Peek: The Hornets have a lot of ammo to move up. Kings at No. 7 is a possible trade point.
Peek says the names to watch if Charlotte sticks at 14 are Hannes Steinbach, Morez Johnson, Yaxel Lendeborg, and Karim Lopez.

Since the NBA Finals have concluded, the Charlotte Hornets will be able to negotiate with Coby White on a new contract (and their other pending free agents) as soon as 12 AM.
Want to clarify on some of the names you don’t see on this list: the Hornets try their best to keep who they work out under wraps. If you see a name on this list, it’s typically either a leak from an agent or player straight up just saying who they worked out for.
Hornets president Jeff Peterson and members of Charlotte’s front office held discussions with Michigan forward Yaxel Landeborg and his Octagon representatives at the NBA Draft Lottery, sources said.
The Hornets have the full mid-level exception available this offseason. How will they look to use it?

#Hornets GM Jeff Peterson on the team's draft evaluation of Kon Knueppel:
"Our overall philosophy when it comes to the draft and just acquiring players in general is eyes-ears-numbers.
Eyes, from a scouting standpoint, of course you want to lean on that. Ears meaning intel, we place a premium on background and character, and the person, not just the player, the person that we would be bringing into the organization. Of course numbers refers to analytics.
So you have all these sectors. When they align, that's something that gives you confidence. We saw Kon even before the (Duke) season started... This guy is interesting.
Two things that stood out were his competitiveness and his IQ or his ability to process the game...
The ACC tournament was here... (Kon) was able to shoulder the load."
