UIPE was ably represented at the 32nd IEK International Convention in Mombasa, Kenya by Eng. Diana Keesiga, Vice President ā Public Relations, Practice & Ethics, and Regina Nanyonjo, UIPE Membership Manager.
This yearās convention brought together over 3,700 delegates from 15 countries, including senior government officials, industry leaders, development partners, and a vibrant cohort of Future Leaders (youth). The event highlighted key
#engineering priorities, regional collaboration, and the evolving role of engineers in shaping Africaās development.
UIPE received special appreciation for its participation, and we held productive discussions with IEK on strengthening collaboration for the benefit of engineers in Uganda ā including joint programmes, knowledge exchange, and more opportunities for young and emerging engineers.
UIPE remains committed to deepening regional partnerships and championing initiatives that build capacity and expand opportunities for Ugandan engineers. We look forward to transforming the insights and connections from Mombasa into impactful collaborations.
