Gender identity ideology is the reason basic, hard won rights are being stripped from women and girls. This issue will only be definitively settled by society either accepting or repudiating the notion that men/boys become girls/women if they say they are.

Around 4 or 5 years ago the Met came up with a scheme whereby new recruits (who were of a black or minority ethnic background) would be afforded guidance and on-tap assistance throughout their 2 year probation. There would be a tutor assigned throughout that period to guide them through challenges, issues or concerns. Issues that many or all probationers come access throughout their probation at some stage. Sadly, if you were white you were on your own and wasn't afforded that extra assistance or guidance. I was working at Edmonton police station in North London and I challenged this on an internal platform. Within a few hours I received a personal email from a Chief Inspector and Superintendent, both of whom suggested I refrain from any negative views on this project. The Superintendent (who still serves today but now in another force) made veiled threats that if I didn't remove the communication or change my view that matters 'could go further'. Many people today wonder why things aren't challenged in the job, particularly around race related issues. The problem remains that if you dare to challenge these things, you are either bullied into submission or punished. Thankfully, I was in my final few months of the job & really didn't care anymore. If I was staying, I would have had to toe the party line and remain silent. Many officers hate these schemes, but are too afraid to speak out & instead just accept that things are the way they are. Race plans aren't only external projects within the job, they very much control things internally too.

Black officer was always late........ Numerous Sargents tried to address this but he kept involving the BPA. While we marched around PSU training he was at his car getting his kit on slowly, found it all amusing, no one said anything. Last skipper who tried to deal with it was not substantive in his role as a Sgt. Black officer approached him and said "Do you really want a complaint from a black officer while you're trying to become a Sgt?" This was all known about by everyone. Don't know what happened to the Sgt, if he made it or not, but the black officer did become a SGT and is now progressing up to inspector. It’s not often I write a post like this, but I feel I need too. After 19 years as a cop, and giving my life for the public I’ve never met, believing in a better tomorrow…..I’m utterly disgusted, ashamed and have absolutely no faith in our justice system anymore. An officer was fired for arresting a violent offender, who was armed with a weapon, because he had used some naughty words. The same ex-officer tackled a shoplifter who’s been charged with a plethora of offences, but has now been charged with assault after taking the offender to the floor. (Which is what he was trained to do) Then two violent thugs, assault various people, attack female officers, and when an officer steps in to do his job, they can’t get a guilty verdict or won’t run a final trial. I’m lost for words and have absolutely no faith in CPS, their decision making, or the justice system. This is not just a case for the police, but shows the greater community that if you’re decent and law abiding, witness a crime and want to help…..you’ll have the book thrown at you. However if you want to fight to police……it’s perfectly fine to do so.

Today is a difficult day for us. I did say I would be a lot more active here but today hasn’t worked out so well. We have 6 air conditioning units on the go and it’s not enough. We need to be here and changing ice packs every 2 hrs to keep the buns cool. Rabbits can tolerate cold Far better than heat. Anything above 27c is deemed unsafe, with a higher chance of fatal heat stroke. As you can see we are 10 degrees above the safe zone. Air con units are expensive, so we are thinking that these fans have great reviews and will help Move the air conditioned air to the further ends of the buildings. We’ve added them to the wish list in hopes that the community can help keep the buns cool ❤️❤️❤️

And while we’re at it, young cops. If you find an animal locked inside a hot car you can use Sec. 17 PACE to enter the vehicle. You don’t need an Inspectors authority. You have a power to protect life. Please use it if necessary. And then take the animal to a Vet for a check-up.
