Hello it is gonna be hot as heck today in Portland. A nice thing you can do for wildlife is to put out some water stations and top them up with fresh water or ice cubes whenever you can! Just a cup on a windowsill with a twig stuck in it is a lil bee spa (the twig is stairs)

A missing detail in this @Oregonian piece is that Michael Menashe is (so far as I can tell) brother to Barry Menashe, whose company owns the blighted fentanyl mall on 5th and Washington and ignored it for months to play cleanup chicken with the city.

A thing which would be great and useful in the comics publishing industry: release of an comprehensive style manual for comics text. A lot of common and useful conventions for word balloon lettering, sound effects, and narration get redlined by copy editors trained on the CMoS.
