2nd Southern team to win state championship, joining 2000 squad. Ironically, that team also was district runner-up. Pitching coach Ryan Keefer was star pitcher on that 2000 team before being drafted by Orioles. #piaa

Southern Columbia winning 2A state title shines bright light on what South Williamsport has done last 2 years with Mounties lone team to beat Southern in playoffs during that time. Ditto Cole Gerber who is 2-0, allowing 1 run in 12 1/3 IP vs them. D4 certainly is loaded

Montoursville senior class walks into sunset having put together super 4-year run which included 2 D4 titles, 4 D4 final appearances, 70 wins. Montoursville has a standard it tries living up to each year and this group certainly enhanced it #piaa

Unfortunately, Logan Kirby injured his elbow in 1st inning & had to exit. wanted to go, but kudos to Montoursville coaches for not risking his bright future going after a win. Kirby had fabulous high school career and was at his best in playoffs last 4 years with 7 wins #piaa

Zack Neill fabulous in relief for 2nd straight state playoff game. threw 5 innings of 3-hit baseball. in 8 2/3 innings of relief last 2 games, Neill surrendered just 3 hits. also went 2-3 today. #piaa

those are amazing achievements. I think sometimes people take it for granted because Montoursville has had such success over years but it is incredibly hard to do what this program has and is testament to players and coaches, past and present. #piaa
