Texas never actually wanted to play Texas Tech because then they have to actually prove it on the field. @CoachSark can win the hypothetical matchup all day and the SEC minions will lick it up with joy. There is a reason he never mentioned TT by name; that way he has an out.

Not being facetious or sarcastic when I say this… I was genuinely hoping Pitt would get in the tournament and get placed in the WVU regional. That would have been the most electric atmosphere in the whole tournament. It would have been a blast.

Hey @Big12Conference … How about next year, you don’t make your #2 seed that lives in the EST time zone finish a game in Arizona after 2 a.m. EST and not be able to get in the bed until after 4 a.m. EST, then turn around and have to play the #1 seed on a full night’s rest.

- Toledo goes 12-0 and is ranked 18th with no wins over ranked teams.
- LSU has 3 wins over teams ranked in the top 25 final college football playoff poll… but is 8-4.

For everyone railing against the 24 team playoff saying that many teams don’t deserve a shot. Well regardless still only one team will win it. And I’ve got news for you, every season we give 138 teams a chance to win it all by letting them play football in the first place.

I am going to miss @ReceDavis when he quits his job when the playoffs expand because college football ‘won’t mean anything, anymore.’ He’s always been one of my favorites going back to College Football Live and Gameday Final.

I don’t want to dabble in hyperbole but two teams have completely stood out to me in their experience, approach, fundamentals and routine. UCLA and West Virginia. Neither are a perfect comparison for one another and the Mountaineers have had their struggles, but I’m going to have a hard time not picking WVU to reach Omaha.
