I will leave my Twitter account configured on my Twidere client for some time, so I still will be able to read my timeline and interact from time to time. But my intention is leaving Twitter completely in some weeks.
It was fun while it lasted.

Updated my Pi4 running ArchLinuxArm and... it's borked. Time to dig into it.

Note that I had 0 problems in years with ArchLinux (other than the very occasional package downgrade). But ArchLinuxArm (for ARM targets) is a different beast. It breaks every few months...

You might have heard Twitter is doomed 🤷, and that raises a question: is Mastodon ready to support something like 400 million users? 🤔 I have no idea and I am wondering if anyone has done a technical analysis.

It is clear it is not ready as it is right now in terms of server instances. What I mean is if it can grow to support such many users, or if the underlying architecture is not able to scale.
